Salt & Stitch started with a simple idea: create great-looking branded caps that people actually want to wear.

Founded in Durban by two sisters with a shared love for retail and creativity, Salt & Stitch was born from a mix of curiosity, inspiration, and a house full of caps. With a brother-in-law who has a serious obsession with headwear, caps quickly became the natural focus, and the perfect canvas for great design.

What began as a small side venture soon grew into a passion for creating custom branded caps in South Africa, that looks good, feels comfortable, and helps brands and events stand out.

Today, Salt & Stitch specialises in premium everyday caps and custom branding, offering embroidery, prints, and badge options to bring your ideas to life. In collaborations with Headwear24, every piece is customised locally in Durban with care, attention to detail, and a love for the craft.
